1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of the V-Armed website at v-armed.com, any associated web-based resources, and — where applicable — the V-Armed virtual reality training platform and systems (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to all users, including prospective clients, institutional representatives, authorized end users within client organizations, and any individual accessing the Site or Services on behalf of a law enforcement agency, military branch, government entity, or affiliated organization.

This AUP is incorporated by reference into V-Armed’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By accessing the Site or using any V-Armed Service, you agree to comply with this policy in full.


2. Authorized Users

Access to V-Armed’s website and Services is intended exclusively for:

  • Active or prospective law enforcement personnel and agencies
  • U.S. military and defense branch personnel and authorized contractors
  • Federal, state, and local government agency representatives
  • First responder organizations including fire, EMS, and emergency management
  • Institutional partners, accredited training facilities, and academic institutions engaged in law enforcement or defense-related research
  • Authorized Sentic and V-Armed staff and vendor representatives

Individuals who do not fall within these categories may browse publicly available Site content but may not submit demo requests, access restricted resources, or represent themselves as affiliated with any of the above organizations.


3. Permitted Use

You may use the Site and Services only for lawful, authorized purposes directly related to evaluating, procuring, operating, or supporting V-Armed’s VR training systems. Permitted uses include:

  • Researching V-Armed’s products and capabilities for institutional procurement purposes
  • Submitting legitimate demo requests or inquiries on behalf of a qualifying organization
  • Accessing training materials, scenario documentation, or system resources provided to your organization under a formal agreement with V-Armed
  • Communicating with V-Armed personnel for support, onboarding, or partnership purposes
  • Sharing publicly available V-Armed content for professional, non-commercial informational purposes with proper attribution

4. Prohibited Use

The following uses of the Site and Services are strictly prohibited. You may not:

Misrepresentation and Impersonation

  • Misrepresent your identity, role, rank, agency affiliation, or authorization level
  • Submit demo requests or inquiries under a false organizational identity
  • Impersonate any law enforcement officer, military personnel, government official, or V-Armed employee

Unauthorized Access and Interference

  • Attempt to access any non-public area of the Site, backend systems, scenario databases, or training content without explicit written authorization from V-Armed
  • Use automated tools, bots, crawlers, or scripts to scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site or any connected system
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from any V-Armed software, training simulation, or platform component
  • Introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, or any other malicious code into the Site or connected systems
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of V-Armed’s systems or networks without written authorization

Misuse of Training Systems and Content

  • Use V-Armed’s training scenarios, simulation environments, or tactical content for any purpose other than authorized institutional training
  • Record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share proprietary simulation content, scenario footage, or training materials without written consent from V-Armed
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on V-Armed’s training scenarios, environments, or software without explicit authorization
  • Use the platform or its simulation content to train, prepare for, or facilitate any illegal activity, including any act of violence, terrorism, or harm to individuals or institutions

Commercial and Competitive Misuse

  • Use any content, data, or information obtained through the Site or Services for competitive intelligence, benchmarking, or resale purposes without written authorization
  • Republish, license, sublicense, or commercially exploit any V-Armed content without prior written consent

Regulatory and Legal Violations

  • Use the Site or Services in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws, including export control regulations, international traffic in arms regulations (ITAR), or any applicable defense procurement rules
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any DHS vendor compliance requirements applicable to V-Armed’s government engagements

5. Simulation Content and Sensitive Material

V-Armed’s training systems contain high-fidelity simulations of tactical scenarios including active shooter response, de-escalation situations, and urban warfare environments. This content is developed exclusively for professional law enforcement, military, and first responder training purposes under controlled institutional settings.

Users with authorized access to V-Armed’s simulation platform agree to:

  • Use simulation content solely within the context of authorized training programs operated by their institution
  • Restrict platform access to authorized personnel within their organization
  • Not extract, record, or distribute simulation footage, scenario data, or system outputs outside of authorized training review activities
  • Immediately report any unauthorized access to or misuse of simulation content to V-Armed at contact@v-armed.com

6. Government and DHS Compliance

As a Department of Homeland Security-approved vendor, V-Armed operates under compliance obligations applicable to government-facing technology providers. Users representing government agencies or accessing V-Armed systems under a government procurement agreement agree to:

  • Use the Services in accordance with all applicable federal procurement regulations and contract terms
  • Not share, transfer, or provide access to V-Armed’s systems or content to unauthorized personnel or third parties outside the scope of their agreement
  • Comply with all applicable information security standards required by their agency or governing contract
  • Promptly notify V-Armed of any security incident, data breach, or unauthorized access event involving V-Armed systems

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of the V-Armed Site or Services, unauthorized access, or violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to:

V-Armed takes all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be submitted anonymously.


8. Consequences of Violation

V-Armed reserves the right to take any of the following actions in response to a violation of this AUP, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Immediately suspend or permanently terminate access to the Site or any V-Armed Service
  • Remove any submitted content or inquiry associated with the violation
  • Notify the relevant institutional authority, law enforcement agency, or government body
  • Pursue civil or criminal legal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law
  • Report violations to the Department of Homeland Security or other applicable regulatory bodies where required by V-Armed’s vendor obligations

9. No Warranty of Uninterrupted Access

V-Armed does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Site or Services. Scheduled maintenance, security updates, or circumstances beyond V-Armed’s control may result in temporary unavailability. V-Armed reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site or Services at any time without liability.


10. Amendments

V-Armed reserves the right to update or modify this AUP at any time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or Services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP. Users with active service agreements will be notified of material changes where required under those agreements.


11. Relationship to Other Policies

This AUP is part of V-Armed’s broader policy framework alongside the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and a separate written agreement between V-Armed and a client organization, the terms of the written agreement shall control.
